Economic Calendar
Upcoming market-moving events — FOMC, CPI, and more. In the terminal you can set alerts and track these alongside live price data.
The events that move crypto
Crypto does not trade in isolation. Fed rate decisions, CPI prints, non-farm payrolls, regulatory hearings and major token unlocks all push markets, sometimes violently. The economic calendar groups these events by date and impact so you know what's coming before it hits the tape.
How to read impact levels
High-impact events (Fed decisions, US CPI, major regulatory rulings) routinely trigger 2-5% moves in BTC within minutes of the release. Medium-impact (retail sales, PPI) is worth watching during quiet sessions but usually gets absorbed. Low-impact events are noise — the calendar includes them for completeness, but you can filter them out in the full terminal.
Why macro matters more than people think
A decade ago crypto was a closed ecosystem. Today Bitcoin trades on US liquidity conditions more reliably than on its own halvings. Institutional flows through ETFs have made the asset class responsive to the same rates and growth signals that drive equities. Ignoring the economic calendar is increasingly expensive.
