Market Heatmap
Visual overview of the crypto market at a glance. In the terminal you get an interactive heatmap alongside charts, order books, and 30+ other widgets.
The whole market on one screen
A market heatmap compresses the entire top tier of crypto into a single glance. Each tile is a coin; the tile's size scales with market capitalisation and the colour with 24-hour price change — deep green for strong winners, deep red for heavy losers, neutral grey for assets hugging flat.
How to read the tiles
Scan for divergence first. If BTC and ETH are green but a cluster of alt tiles is dark red, capital is rotating back into majors — typically a defensive signal. The opposite pattern, red majors with green mid-caps, often precedes a broader risk-on leg. A single outlier tile swelling past its neighbours on colour intensity is usually a news event worth checking.
Why a heatmap beats a list
A sorted list forces you to process one coin at a time. A heatmap uses visual area and colour so your brain parses the whole market in under a second. It's the best tool to orient yourself at the start of a session — then drop into the ranking tables or charts for the specific names that caught your attention.
